With over twenty years of executive experience in launching and building luxury beauty brands, Zanovello Consultant’s founder, Franca Zanovello, combines a rare expertise and deep understanding of the US retail beauty market with an impressive track record of successes.

A true beauty industry maven, Franca was born in a nurturing Italian home surrounded by tall magnolia trees, with an innate entrepreneurial spirit gifted by a family of pioneers, artisans, ceramists, sculptors, painters, travelers and artistic people of all kinds.

With over 20 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing for beauty and wellness brands, both emerging and global, in the North American market, Franca has dedicated her work to launching, growing and establishing strong distribution models for the most unique, innovative brands, with a focus in clean and sustainable beauty and plant wellness. Among these pioneering brands are Jurlique skincare, Foria wellness, Emilie Heathe color and beauty as well as Santa Maria Novella fragrance and apothecary. Franca also launched and developed a successful retail distribution for other ethical skincare brands, including Kahina Giving Beauty, establishing successfully the brand in both the US and international markets, as well as Dr. Alkaitis raw holistic organic skincare, Kreyol Essence haircare which launched at Wholefoods and Loli Beauty which launched at Ulta locations nationwide, among other key retailers.

Recently Franca has also been collaborating with the French Trade Commission/Business France, the Italian Trade Commission, where she successfully spearheaded the Beauty Made in Italy program, as well as the China Institute, as an advisory for the Beauty Trade industry. Franca’s extensive record of long-term successes is reflected in the establishment and expansion of these brands, projects and organizations in the most competitive markets.

Franca, who in addition to anything beauty also loves photography, hiking with her dog and scuba-diving, has lived in Venice, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York and is now happily based in rural Connecticut.
